    The White Mountain – Mount Kilimanjaro

    The highest free standing mountain in the world, the highest mountain in Africa,  The White Mountain, is the Great tri-peaked Mount Kilimanjaro.

    Historically, it was established with trade routes, and the people identified the mountain due to the snow on it’s peaks visible during the day time.

    Now, the climb to it’s peak is a moment of glory, an accomplishment that is now on a training circuit for the Mighty Himalayas.

    The Baoabab team had the pleasure of visiting the Great White Mountain earlier this year, and here we share some of the images from this trip. Hope you like them.

    A few years ago, a company called LYTRO  came up with a revolutionary new Camera system. It was a click now, focus later tool.  Google has now come up with a similar tool for their Android operating systems, and they’re calling is Lens Blur. What does this mean for you and me? Well, if you’ve got a 4.4 Kitkat operating system ( for now ), you get this nifty new tool to download and play with.   You can click away at an image in deep depth of field ( everything in focus ), and end up selectively applying your focus on whatever you want.
